School Board meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the school library (last week's meeting notice for Aug. 20 was incorrect).

Monday, Aug. 31

The State Transportation Commission is holding a public meeting aboard the inter-island ferry to discuss ferry fare increases. The boat departs Friday Harbor at 11:35 a.m., gets to Orcas at 12:30, Shaw at 12:45, and Lopez at 1:05 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

Cemetery District meets at 5 p.m. in the Orcas Library meeting room.
