Children’s House latest to be robbed
December 9, 2008 · Updated 12:13 AM
Orcas Island’s Children’s House, the early learning childhood center, was the latest victim in a number of thefts and break-ins of both residential and commercial properties on Orcas in the past several months.
Sheriff Bill Cumming said that approximately $2800 in property, including an Apple computer and a camera, were taken from the childhood center. His investigators found tool marks around the locks on at least one door on the property.
The theft was discovered when employees came to work one day last week.
