Jeremiah Bernhardt, M.D. is a third-year family medicine resident from Seattle’s Swedish Medical Center who arrived at Orcas Family Health Center (OFHC) in the middle of October to complete a month-long rotation under the supervision of David C. Shinstrom, M.D. Over the past few years, several third-year residents have done a similar rotation, noting the time spent at OFHC served as a valuable learning experience for rural medical practitioners.”

“Patients young and old have enjoyed seeing Dr. Bernhardt as he completed his month-long rotation in rural medical practice.”

Bernhardt grew up in Portland, Oregon, and attended the University of Oregon and George Washington University in Washington, D.C. before beginning his three year residency training at Swedish. He is married and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping as well as cyclecross. He will be seeing patients at OFHC through the middle of November.

To make an appointment, call Orcas Family Health Center 376-7778.
