Become a WSU Master Gardener volunteer

WSU Extension is gearing up once again for its popular biennial WSU Master Gardener training to be held in Friday Harbor.
Training begins Jan. 13 and concludes Feb. 24. Participants will receive over 60 hours of horticulture training by professionals in their field in the areas of botany, water quality, native plants, integrated pest management, composting, small fruit production, plant propagation, plant disease management, and more. In return for this high-quality training, participants will volunteer 90 hours of community service over two years.
