David Mowrey and Bing Zhao wish to announce their upcoming wedding and reception on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the Orcas Island Fire Department’s Eastsound station across from the airport.

David has been a resident of Orcas and member of the fire department since 1982.

He and Bing were introduced in 2006 by Qingqing Lu, Bing’s aunt, who is married to David’s good friend Larry Neer. “Who knew that true love would follow?” asks David.

“Please come and help us to welcome Bing and her son Di to the island! It’s a finger food potluck, the dress is Island formal, whatever that means to you.”
