Orcas Library to host pajama party, story time for kids
July 16, 2008 · 1:47 PM
Children ages three to six are invited to wear their pajamas and come hear stories at the Orcas Library before bedtime on Thursday, July 31.
The program will be from 7 to 8 p.m., but listeners are encouraged to arrive early to allow time to get comfortable. Enjoy light snacks and listen to a variety of presenters reading fun stories aloud.
The program is free and open to families and children of all ages, though the stories selected are designed for children ages 3 to 6. This program is a collaborative effort of the Orcas Public Library and the Orcas Island Recreation Program.
The regular weekly schedule of family storytimes will continue to be Thursdays, 10 to 10:30 a.m., at the Library, and Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. to noon, at the Village Green (weather permitting).
Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
