ARC sponsors Lopez Island fall farm festival

Visit Lopez Island for a weekend of informative events all about farming in the San Juan Islands and the opportunity to buy fresh fall harvest from farm stands.

Choose from more than 15 events, including a fall harvest feast, sheepdog demonstrations, chicken butchering demonstration, a tour and tasting at the islands’ oldest organic vineyard, shellfish farm tour and tasting, biodynamic farming, and more.

The Lopez Island Fall Farm Festival is coordinated by the Agricultural Resources Committee of San Juan County as part of its efforts to strengthen the county’s agricultural economy and expand awareness about sustainable farming.
