Clyde and April Duke, owners of Duke Contracting Services, LLC, have purchased Orcas Heating and Sheet Metal from Katy Cardinale this month.

Clyde and his brother Bill have been doing metal fabrication for eight years, renting the work space and equipment at Orcas Heating. Clyde specializes in flashings of all types – chimney and stove caps, window boxes and other custom projects.

Duke Contracting has been roofing on Orcas and the other islands in San Juan County since 1991. They also install copper, galvanized and rounded metal gutter systems.

“We’ve been so grateful for all the years of constant support that this wonderful community has given us and we look forward to continuing to fulfill your roofing, gutter and metal fabrication needs,” Clyde said. “We’ll let everyone know when we open up the heating division again.”
