The San Juan County Economic Development Council (EDC) and the Northwest Workforce Council are pleased to announce that the Weatherization Tech Training program has enabled nine San Juan County builders to expand their knowledge base to include retrofitting and weatherization techniques.
Presented by the EDC and the Northwest Workforce Council, funded by grants from NCAF/ExxonMobil, San Juan County and the State of Washington, and taught by the Building Performance Center, the program provided nine island builders with five days of training in weatherization and retrofitting techniques.
Todd Kegerreis and Andre Enterman of Sage Building Solutions (Lopez); Gerald Ormond, Greg Taylor, Michael Daley and Kent DuCote of KDL Construction (San Juan); Hans Hellmann of Hellman Construction (Lopez); Eli Derzay of Swal’lech Construction (Lopez); and Richard Russell of Russell Construction (Orcas) will receive their certification on June 10.
