Residents of Olga have seen a lot of activity since December at the power station on Pt. Lawrence Road and experienced two power outages. It’s all part of the upgrading of the power station that was built in the 1970s.

When completed, the station will be able to easily switch power to Eastsound without outages. A new gravel flooring will make it easier for OPALCO employees to work at the station.
