Coldwell Banker invites public to Open House
June 17, 2008 · Updated 6:46 PM
In celebration of 22 years of serving Orcas Island, owner/broker of Coldwell Banker Patricia Pomeroy invites the community to a festive Open House April 28 to 29. Coldwell Banker Orcas Island will open its doors to friends and neighbors in the famous yellow Victorian house on the corner of Main Street and North Beach Road in Eastsound. The event will begin April 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. and will continue on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will include refreshments, great door prizes such as restaurant and entertainment gift certificates, market estimates, and repeated showings of the Clark Gable/Jeanette McDonald earthquake classic "San Francisco".
The Open House coincides with the 100th anniversary of the national Coldwell Banker network, the nation's oldest real estate organization. After the devastation of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, Colbert Coldwell founded the company based on the principals of honesty, integrity and service.
In celebrating this 100th anniversary Coldwell Banker is sponsoring a campaign (in tandem with Habitat for Humanity) to build 100 houses around the country in 2006.
